Come forward to prohibit HUNGER 

In Sundarban the last 2 years Covid  pandemic and successive two devastating cyclones Aamphan & Yaash have destroyed a few lakhs livelihood and uploaded many families. 70% of the population here belongs to the farmer community, unfortunately they are not able to produce enough crops. So that they can manage basic necessities for their families. These are the consequences of climate change that the islanders are facing. In appropriate rain sometimes heavy rainfall with rise in sea water level, making farmer life and livelihood very difficult. Thus unfortunately many of them converted into migratory laborers. But due to not ending covid pandemic many of them are now jobless. As a result, dropout cases among children just doubled here. Sad to say many of this children are now helping their parents and became child laborers just some how to manage 2 meals per day.

 Affected us all in some way or the other. Its people, the Government of India, fought against the COVID-19 pandemic, with isolation and lockdown. The pandemic affected millions of migrants, laborers and underprivileged sections of society.

THE 2021 UPDATE: HUNGER PROHIBITION

As people affected by the pandemic continue to fight a hunger crisis, it is time we all stand with them for their well-being. As of 31st December 2021, Aranyaj Society has served a cumulative of 10 lakh meals in the form of cooked meals and grocery kits to marginalized families while distributing Ration Kits and Joybox.
